| As a minister, you may have experienced the frustration many other parishes feel as they try to start or grow their youth ministry programs. The obstacles may vary, but the results are often the same-- a less-than impacting youth ministry. Some parishes start a new youth ministry from scratch year after year after year. Others, invest valuable time recruiting parish youth ministers only to see them leave the next year. Other youth ministers, while trying hard, are not attracting or keeping teens in their programs; or, maybe a parish doesn't have enough trained adults to support an effective youth ministry. |
