2009 Peer Ministry Team Retreat
Join us for the Annual Cultivation Ministries' Peer Ministry Retreat. For over 10 years, hundreds of high school youth from around the Midwest have gathered to grow in their faith, build community, and develop practical skills in order to become more effective peer ministers.
RETREAT SPEAKERS
This year's theme, from the INSIDE OUT, focuses on the importance of doing our ministry from a deep relationship with Jesus.
The scriptures emphasize how our effectiveness in ministry is directly related to our connection with Jesus. "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (Jn 15:3). True ministry fruit is a result of spiritual depth. The 2009 Peer Ministry Team Training Retreat will challenge us, inspire us, and provide the practical spiritual tools to help us grow in our relationship with Christ
Additionally, we will be offering the following practical workshop themes:
• Communication Skills 101
• Growing A Mega Youth Ministry
• Producing Blockbuster Short Films For Ministry
• Becoming A Skilled Listener
As always, there will be interactive activities that will challenge your team to become stronger and more committed to each other, powerful prayer experiences, and great worship music.
